This project's giving me a headache. What school comes up with this kind of things? Oh right, mine. First off, the requirements are... pretty out there (egg in a basket, engagement rings..?). Secondly, I'm forced to 'marry' someone I barely know, so yeah, it's a little awkward. Thirdly, my apparent husband wants to name our son
Cloud Edward. Two things:
Edward reminds me of
Twilight and who would want to name their son
Cloud?
Forgive me, this post's gonna be full of rants. Bear with me.
At first I was all "Hey.. cool project!" before I saw all the requirements. There are soooo many, it's making my life so hard, literally. With my workload, millions of quizzes, it's hard to keep up. *insert whines here* I seriously thought the worst must-have is the Marriage Contract application form cause you'd have to get it from the City Hall. But no.. it gets worse. They want us to interview an OB Gyne and a Pediatrician for guides to my 'pregnancy'. God, I don't even want to be a mother this early... haha. And I don't think the school realizes how much it costs for an appointment, worse, only to just interview them. The school's a money-taking machine! My dad says so too! They find every single reason for us to pay for stuff. Like the orientation. We paid like $100 and we don't even know why.. my teachers are the one who teaches us and not other foreign trainers, there aren't any new materials bought, still the same old Montessori Materials. Ugh.
Anyways... in short, we have to plan everything that happens from the point where a couple gets married. Yes, honeymoon included lol. In our scrapbook, there has to be a story of how we met and 'fell in love', wedding arrangements, honeymoon arrangements, a journal on what happened with my pregnancy... you name it, it's there. About the egg-in-a-basket, that basically represents an egg in the womb, and we girls have to carry it around with us wherever we go. And when I finally 'give birth', I would replace that egg with a baby doll.. all the while wearing an engagement ring my husband gave me.
You know what? I'd scan that game guidelines paper and show it to all of you, and see if you can take it haha.
xoxo
