Innocent class? Hell no. So, I woke up at around 5.30. I have to be in school by 7 and it takes about 20-30min for my dad to drive me there. I was hella nervous to be honest, I absolutely have no idea what to expect. I entered the school compound and they checked my temperature, was perfectly fine (dang it! haha just kidding). Man, we really couldn't bring handphones, not even sneak 'em in, cause after the temperature taking, we had a thorough checking of our bags and they checked my pockets and everything. After going up the staircase, I found out my class and the room number. I think I was practically shaking haha! I opened the door and gosh, it was overwhelming. The people currently present there started introducing themselves all at once, mostly the guys cause they were near the door. I caught names like David, Wynford, LA.. and I'm like woahh, slow down. LA was like "Are you new?" and I'm like "Yeah" and he gave me a high-five. He's awesome, I swear. He couldn't stop saying 'hi Jeneva!' for literally the whole day.
The first person who made friends with me was this girl, Ilana, she's really nice, she's from the States. The moment I walked in then class, I realised they were all super hug-y (I know, it's not a word) haha. Well obviously, all of them have grown so close to each other, being each other's classmates for 2 years, and whenever another classmate enters the door, the whole class would like run to her/him and give her/him a hug. It was really sweet actually haha, the guys and the girls are really close. Everyone gets along so well, literally no one's left out. It was still really awkward for me though.
Our adviser's Mrs. Magallanes. She was the one who interviewed me for the entrance exam. It's so different here.. the curriculum and everything. For one, those who are in a relationship, they're really not afraid to show their feelings for each other haha, unlike SPF. And the class is noisyyy. Haha! Here's me, thinking that my class will be like the super quiet, studious type, with it being a private school and everything... god, how wrong I was. And the teachers and the students are really close. Again with the hugging! The teachers are awesome, they aren't like strict, more like entertain us even more if someone disrupts the class (aka LA) haha. Before everything starts, it was real funny actually. LA was like "Hey Jen, I have to warn you. Do not fall in love with this guy *points behind me* every girl is, we think it's cause of his hair. Do not fall into his trap!" I'm like "*nods* sureee, no problemm!" Haha!
Snack/Lunch break was fine, the usual stuff. But I'm telling you, the food's 937423856387246837 times better than SPF's food. And apparently, we have this activity for the whole year called "Engagement Game" - everyone's gonna be paired up, boy/girl and we have to pretend we're engaged. We have to make a scrapbook, of everything that happens after an engagement, our own rubbishy story... like how we met, how he court me, how he proposed, wedding plans (invitations, gowns, flowers, everything!), my months of pregnancy, the baptismal of our baby... yeah, I'm like in shock after hearing this. I did not know that this was in the curriculum gosh. I'm truly, honestly scared which guy I'm gonna be paired up with hah
So yeah... that's how my first day went... I'm sure, I left out some stuff but I can't rmb 'em!
